Thompson's Point is a piece of property in Portland, Maine that was revitalized by a group of people with a unique mission—to create a new city "district." The property's location is a hub of transportation, with Portland Trails, bus station, and train station on premise, as well as waterfront for boat approach, and the airport very close by. The land itself is historic, and the owners transplanted the old Depot structure from the demolished Union Station. The uniqueness of this location as a place where forms of travel converge and its industrial history was the inspiration for the brand design.
