Design for first friday downtown waterville

Working with the (dedicated, motivated, inspirational) team at Waterville Creates often leads to other fun projects such as this. We created this brand in tandem with Waterville Creates, Colby College Museum of Art, and Green Block + Studios to represent the monthly community event that happens downtown Waterville.

Many cities across the U.S. hold art-focused monthly events on First Fridays. Downtown has gone through many transitions lately, and with the recent opening of Green Block + Studios and the Paul J. Schupf Art Center, we decided to put Waterville on the First Friday map.

We want more people to realize all that downtown has to offer—an awesome Main street lined with new and established businesses, unique and interesting events for all ages, tons of opportunities, art, music, film, theatre, literature, education, food, drink, goods, gorgeous accommodations, and so much more. With so much going on you will want to stay the whole weekend!
